First Day of Preschool

It was a hard day for Me, but Carson seemed to enjoy it.
I only regret that it is such a long day for both of us. Since I am working at the same preschool Carson has to stay the whole day also. I just think that 8:30-5:15 is a long day for a 3 year old. I guess we will see how things work out after a few weeks.
P.S.- being a mom is hard, but I only cried twice :(

What??? You don't know what the "Big E" is?
Don't feel too bad... I didn't either. It turns out that the "Big E" is a fair. The "E" stands for New England..? Since the states around here are so small they have to join together for these kind of affairs.
As it turns out one of our new neighbors had a few extra tickets, and very kindly shared with us.

Carson had so much fun on the Pony... next year we are going to up grade.

I must be crazy

Carson has been into spaceships and rockets lately. Maybe a little to much of our time is spent playing with rockets... you be the judge.
Early one morning I was awakened to find two large eyes an inch from my face. I must have been very tired.. or it could have been very early, I am not sure which. Carson then proceeds to tell me something that really didn't make sense at all.
Me - "What?"
Carson (whispering)- "Mom. We need to leave planet Earth."
I blink a few times... look at him again, and say- "What?"
Carson- "Mom! listen to me. We need to leave planet Earth in 2 days. Do you understand?"
Me-"uh....mmm?"
Carson-"I'm tired. I'm going back to bed."
Me (now very much awake, trying not to laugh, and still very confused)- "OK... ?"


So. It has been nice knowing all of you. I sincerely hope that we can come back and visit some time soon. But... for now I guess we are leaving "planet earth" on Wednesday.
